America's Dog - Conservation Unfiltered

After discussing my day job as a biologist working to establish pollinator habitat, the host at the Conservation Unfiltered Podcast (Conserve The Wild) had me back to talk about the relatively rare breed of dog we have - the Mountain Feist. These dogs are an artifact passed down by our pioneer ancestors and serve as a direct link to the past. There's no better way to help people reconnect with nature and build a sense of place than having an intact culture and breeds of animals resulting from it!
